Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 through the year 2019, she was artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. As the artistic director of SSC She was also the composer/music supervisor for the company as well as a text teacher. In her last year, she was a lighting designer and director for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble and in this year's production was the first time she directed a show.
